Battle of the Bands 2009

The Music Academy is proud to host the second annual Battle of the Bands competition at ATRiuM this Saturday 25th April 2009.
Admission to The Battle of the Bands competition at the ATRiuM is free and doors open at 11.30am on Saturday morning.
Following a rigorous shortlisting process, we are pleased to announce the final line-up of seven bands that will take part in the finals day on Saturday.The bands will be competing for a top prize of £1000, a 40% discount from the purchase of Roland music equipment, plus three days recording time in one of the state of the art ATRiuM recording studios.
The confirmed line-up including approximate performance times will be as follows:
- Hillside Heroes 12.05 – 12.20
- The Swag 12.30 – 12.45
- The Lay-Lows 12.55 – 1.10
Lunch Interval
- The Crowd 2.00 – 2.15
- Tonight we set sail 2.25 – 2.40
- Deadalus Red Eye 2.50 – 3.05
- Corrupt Contrabanned 3.15 – 3.30
The winners of this years competition will be announced at the end of the day following a special guest performance by last years inaugural competition winners The Chloe Cooke band.
