medialab is an enterprise initiative centered around future digital media and multi-platform sectors.

medialab themes

• mediamake – High end industry facilities including: a Render Farm, HDTV and Game Development studios for the creation, experimentation, and development of computer generated images (CGI) along with visual effects and motion graphics for digital animation, computer games, television and film production.
• mediatalk – An industry led forum disseminating the latest research and best practice, whilst sharing knowledge and identifying potential market developments .
• mediathink – The Centre for Policy & Enterprise in Creative Industries (PECi), to generate and share knowledge about policy and enterprise in the sector, build strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders in local and national government and to foster exchanges with national and international partners to encourage and promote media innovation and enterprise .
• mediawork – Continued Professional development for industry practitioners and provision of a Creative Leadership programme (CREATE) to up skill and generate and exploit intellectual property opportunities for Wales.
