Centre for Storytelling Secure a Successful Bid
March 17, 2010
The George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling based at the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries has been successful in a joint bid to JISC for a project entitled ‘Co-FAST – Community Flood Archive enhancement through Storytelling’.
This is a collaborative project with the University of Gloucestershire and brings together researchers in the Arts and Humanities with colleagues in Physical Geography. The project builds on a previous RIS-funded project exploring the use of digital storytelling in the flood communities of Tewkesbury, which was carried out last year by Glamorgan researcher, Ailsa Richardson. This bid underpins a continuing collaboration between the Centre and the University of Gloucestershire and will help to develop its exploratory work in the field of disaster management.
