Glamorgan fashion students create pop-up shop

December 2, 2011

Shop11 Staff Fashion students from the University of Glamorgan have opened one of Cardiff’s first 'pop-up’ clothing shops this week.

The store, called [Shop 11], is located in Cardiff’s St David’s Dewi Sant Shopping Centre in the former Martin’s Chocolatier unit near the Eastside food court.

The shop is being run by students from the BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion course, and the space was designed by BA (Hons) Interior Design students.

[Shop 11] will be selling limited edition T-shirts, by brand Stockholm-lima from Thursday 1st December to Sunday 4th December.

Each limited edition T-shirt has been designed by BA (Hons) Fashion Design students from the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries.

[Shop 11] aims to bring the behind-the-scenes feel of a fashion studio to the customer, with in-store stylists on hand to create the perfect outfit for them. They can also experience what it’s like to be a fashion model in the store’s fully functioning 'pop-up’ photography studio.
