What attracted you to studying at Glamorgan?

Friends and contacts from the music industry had highlighted Glamorgans reputation for being the best place in Wales to study any creative arts, especially music and sound engineering.

What do you think about the postgraduate course that you are studying at Glamorgan?

I thought the course was very good, both interesting and enjoyable. The major advantage of this course is that it helps to develop a varied skillset rather than just focusing solely on audio.

Why did you choose this subject?

I chose this subject, as it was a natural progression from the BSc in Sound Technology offered at Glamorgan.

What was your learning and experience at Glamorgan like?

The facilities were pretty cool. There were plenty of computers always available, most have up-to-date software and has never been any problems with computers not working or breaking down.

How have your studies at Glamorgan helped you achieve your career goals?

Through studying at Glamorgan I have met a lot of people from within the creative industries both from the course and also from outside the university. From this I have received job offers from various people who have visited the university over the years.

What other valuable skills or experiences do you think you have gained from studying at Glamorgan?

I have gained a lot of communication skills through dealing and talking with a range of people from all ages, race, creed and nationality.

What do you think about other aspects of life at Glamorgan?

The support from all members of staff was pretty good. Emails are answered fairly swiftly and people are happy to take the time and talk about lectures, assignments and even projects you may participate in outside of the course.

If you were to recommend this course to someone else, what would you say?

I would recommend the course based on it excellent structure and really good staff, experts in their respective fields.
