What attracted you to studying at Glamorgan?

The majority of my friends and family are situated in South Wales and with Glamorgan offering good quality animation course I didn’t feel it necessary to move away.

What do you think about the postgraduate course that you are studying at Glamorgan?

I chose this course as I felt that Glamorgan offered an open-minded approach to the forms animation can take within art and design, and also an in depth look into its origins and future uses.

Why did you choose this subject?

With a keen interest in motion graphics I chose this course, as I believe it will help me to improve on my core foundations of animation.

What was your learning and experience at Glamorgan like?

With a mixed staff background of being either industry professionals or art lecturers, I feel the taught material has a good balance of history and theory within art and design and also tried and tested methods and skills that have worked in industry.

What do you think about other aspects of life at Glamorgan?

Coupled with the high quality facilities available at the ATRiuM, Cardiff offers a vibrant social life making Glamorgan a better choice than other universities I’ve seen.

How have your studies at Glamorgan helped you achieve your career goals?

Since, and during my time at Glamorgan I have worked on numerous programmes for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and the Welsh channel S4C. Through this and other opportunities provided by the university I have managed to establish my own contacts within the industry.

What other valuable skills or experiences do you think you have gained from studying at Glamorgan?

I feel I have much more creative drive and ambition, mainly due to the honest, creative feedback and assistance from the lecturers.

Would you recommend this course?

I would recommend this course as it offers students the opportunity to pursue any of their interests within animation.
