What attracted you to studying at Glamorgan?

The course suited me because I could balance the study around my part-time job and being a Mum. It was an added bonus that the course was in Wales.

*What do you think about the MA Scriptwriting course?

It’s a great course for self motivated people – the weekends at Glamorgan are always inspiring. I think the relationship with a tutor really helps a fledging writer to find their feet and get support when they need it.

Why did you choose this subject?

I’ve always dreamed of writing films but never quite dared to take it seriously.

What was your learning and experience at Glamorgan like?

I found the staff to be extremely helpful and supportive. The few times that I have used the IT equipment again the staff has been very patient with me.

How have your studies at Glamorgan helped you achieve your career goals?

I think it is a little early to judge that but I hope that finishing my first feature length script will give me a calling card and a foot in the door in the industry

What other valuable skills or experiences do you think you have gained from studying at Glamorgan?

I think I have learnt a lot from sharing my work with others on my course – I think I appreciate the importance of a support network for writers.

If you were to recommend this course to someone else, what would you say?

It’s a very nurturing course and suited to people who are a little intimidated or nervous about venturing into the world of scriptwriting.
